Hard to say if the guy died from it with all his other problems but if his blood measured over 100 then it was probably a toxic level of the Vitamin. Vitamin D is very different from Vitamin C. You can take high doses of Vitamin C bc your body doesn’t absorb it. You pee out the excess.
I take extra vitamin D with Boron and Vitamin K for my bones.
During COVID I raised the amount I took to boost my blood level higher. My blood test measured in the 30’s without supplements. I remembering reading somewhere your Vitamin D levels in your blood should measure in the 60’s or higher to protect you from getting sick. Last year I measured 85 and my doctor told me she didn’t want it to go any higher.
But you shouldn’t overdo it either. Taking too much Vitamin D is toxic. Having it higher than 100 in your blood is too much .
