Same! It dries out my lips which I hate. My only complaint! Also my dog who loves to be outside was suddenly spending his time inside sleeping. I gave him fenbendazole for 3 days and he completely reverted to himself. The vet said he had some bots but they could do nothing about them. I’ve never heard that from them ever! So I handled it! I’m wondering if ivermectin and fenbendazole might put them out of business!
Fenbendazole and Ivm would put the entire cancer industry out of business. I can get both of those meds down the road, in a store, off the shelf, for about $20 for a weeks worth of treatmwnts. Had a girl friend die of breast cancer (the chemo, really) and her insurance was billed $35,000 per visit, every two weeks.
Stricker1, the ivermectin paste that I started to buy at Tractor Supply has boticide in it to kill the bot flies. I didn't buy it for this reason because I didn't know if it was safe. I feel very confident that the Ivermectin paste would work, but didn't want to be taking an added ingredient that I didn't know anything about. Glad it worked for your fur baby.
My box says boticide as well. After some quick research, it looks like boticide isn't an ingredient. The Ivermectin itself is considered a dewormer and boticide when given to horses. I couldn't find it as a separate ingredient anywhere on the box other than saying it's a boticide. They are just advertising the effects of the Ivermectin. There are probably hundreds of uses for the stuff.
