I'm not sure there is validity to that. We could just as easily take over those resources without costing our lives, our taxpayer money, and our military might.

It also makes us look completely ineffectual against Russia which could easily have geopolitical repercussions when a threat one day does truly rise.

If Ukraine really is a major place of corruption for the powers that be, the best thing to do would have been.. nothing.

Just sit and watch it be dismantled.
