Thanks to user UnvaxxedUnafraid I now see that the whole "blue thing" actually has substance to it. Here is proof that a laser has problems with the color blue:
I see a lot of red and blue. You wanna know why? because after a fire like that the greys, whites, blacks, and browns all kind of blend together meanwhile the blues and reds stand out like crazy.
You know what you don't see? You don't see all the items that were blue that did in fact BURN, because they've burned no longer making them recognizable as blue.
Edit: I also see bright green items that didn't burn. Once again they're the color green that really stands out against the white/grey of everything that burned.
Edit: Thank you for this link tho, this is great to prove my point.
More to the point, anyone that wanted to put their money where their mouth is could send a check to digitalglobe or similar firms and get sat photos from before and after and prove that blue things didn't burn. But no one is doing that for some reason...
Someone needs to see if there is a high-rez aerial color photo(s) of the Lahaina area BEFORE the fire, to determine the difference in number of blue things before and after.
