Tragedy and criminal. On the Puyallup river in WA a dam there wanting to do some work used old AstroTurf to line the banks. That polluted the river with micro plastics and now have a large fine along with cleanup of the river. If there are fines and prosecution Newsom and everyone involved should be held responsible. Definitely go after the bond that should have been posted before doing what they did.
Astro turf =/= grass and bank stabilizing plants. It resembles the green paint applied to dead grass to fool the satellite pictures.
