Remember in The Iliad what drew Achilles into wrath was when his boy lover Patroclus was killed?

Remember the orgiastic frenzies of the Bacchic cult of women in the hills of Greece, who would physically eat any man alive who was unlucky enough to stumble into their hysteria?

Apparently there’s some debate about whether that was what was really going on, wrt Achilles, but point being, this war isn’t new.
