In my personal opinion, I don't think there has been a more powerful and important voice in alternative news media than Steve Bannon. While it is true that he left Trump's immediate orbit, he has absolutely been Voice #1 for MAGA ever since he started War Room.
No one else that I know had more guests on to talk about the COVID FRAUD, or the ELECTION FRAUD, than Steve Bannon.
I agree with you that he is not likely to be Trump's campaign manager at the finish line like he was in 2016, but I also think his role has become far more important as a voice for MAGA than as someone behind the scenes making sure venues can handle Trump's crowds.
And who knows how things really went down between Trump and Bannon. Steve certainly hasn't acted like a spoiled little brat like so many others who were fired and ran off to write books. In contrast, Steve doubled down in his support for Trump. So like so many things, we'll see.
Don't get me wrong I watch the WarRoom all the time and am very impressed in his MAGA stance. I just not sure Trump will take him back in. He would make a good retribution lead...I always thought it was a clash of ego's that was his downfall.
He will be in the sense that he needs him on the outside to do what he is doing now and get the narrative out. Anything else Trump heeds can be accomplished via the phone.
Trump fired him from his first term, I don't think he will be part of the second term..

They both have huge egos. That's for sure.
I do think both men believe in preserving our nation.
Maybe they realized they were both too big to be in the same room all the time and decided it would be best to work together from afar.
Just today I saw Steve talking and he said,
SB is a far more powerful asset to DJT on the outside and is right where we need him.
I think the deep state players surrounding Trump where instrumental in getting rid of Bannon.
That makes sense, since Bannon's done nothing but good since then.
It is the only thing that makes sense.
