It's weird to store one business's inventory in another business's inventory, but that would still be a basement in direct proximity to Comet and so it doesn't dissolve the criticism nor does it actually deflect from the questions with any credible success.

Not that weird if he owns both, probably treats them as one. Inventory for either business is probably stored wherever they can put it. And I agree, it negates nothing.
