Reminds me of that group in Chicago. I think they're called Mothers of Chicago or something. It's made up mostly of women who have lost sons and daughters to gang related gun violence. They are always hosting community events in their neighbourhood and its worked to deter drug dealing and gang activity. They give out clothes and toys to the needy. Give food to the homeless. What's startling is you won't see any liberal politician praising the work of these grieving mothers in their personal fight against gang culture. No big donors from corporations, no greedy websites begging for donations or merchandise sales. Because their focus is on maintaining a safe community, something the city has failed to do, they are of no use to left wing race baiters.
