The one reason I can appreciate all of the images he used was because he wasn't picking a bias or anything he was just showing the beauty of the human spirit when it uses the body. Like, even evil people are at their core...people...and the tiny fragment where he included say...Ellen... wasn't anything to do with her, it was strictly an example of the impulsivity he spoke about. What she does behind the curtains should absolutely be brought to light - but, that wasnt the fight he was fighting in this moment. This is a spiritual battle afterall and we dont have to be judge nor jury - for God will be the one we all answer to in the end regardless.
Not to mention, there was a book I read many years ago - I'm about to be 35 now and I believe this was 7th grade? But... From what I can still gather, music (or expression, music being the coup de gras) was outlawed. There was a small selection of masks you could pick from, matching jumpsuits etc kinda thing. But, there was that Neo to the Matrix that didn't let his voice be silenced.
Dang, wish I could remember the book I'd love to re-read it today. But, my point is... just like a gun = music is a powerful weapon. In the right hands it can save lives in the wrong hands it can destroy them. So, God Bless everyone who uses that weapon to be a voice for good and not just fall into the meat grinder and be another artist that accepted that paycheck to be weaponized against the people.

Yes, exactly. And not just music but every tool we have, from language to dance to guns (for defense or food) to whatever; it can all be used for good or for evil, and our intent and understanding make the difference.
Malice and stupidity or thoughtlessness are the real evil.
every single piece of literature, lyrics, etc was made of the same assortment of letters, wether it be used to protect us or harm us. same just as any other tool.

What a nice way to put it.
