I am staying put in the Seattle area till the election is over. I know the land here. Most people here are weak, there is plenty of fresh water around me. I know the roads. I know what time of day is optimal to bug out. I can back pack from my house to my parents house if I was that desperate.
If I move now I would be in unfamiliar territory with people I don’t know.
There's a place on the peninsula where the mountains cast a natural shadow over the town that takes anything the easterly winds are blowing and routes it around. Never ending fresh water, lots of game, lakes and the sound. Im not going anywhere.
Unfortunately, I'm stuck in NY until my wife can retire in about 6 years!

Do as you wish, I'm not about saving any given state or city, I'm all for saving the American Republic. I can do that better among my own kind here in Tennessee; the people of California, New York, Illinois, Oregon, etc. are simply lost and beyond saving.
