Electric cars have up to a third less range than advertised

The range of electric cars in colder temperatures is, on average, 29.9 per cent less than advertised,an investigation by What Car magazine has found.

It's going to be pretty funny to see what happens to the electric vehicle industry if Trump is elected and puts U.S. back on the energy-independent track it had been on. Are any of the U.S. car makers very light, or non-existent, when it comes to EVs? If so, THAT is the one to put your money in after the election, if Trump wins.
