Well, let me put it like this... When the ANC Commie Government took control in 1994, They inherited a Perfectly working Infrastructure...What these Geniuses decided was to replace ALL whites in Government Run Institutions,,, Power utility, Water/Sanitation infrastructure, Railways, Ports, Teachers, Engineers, Military, Police etc... Everyone with 'historical knowledge' of these diverse portfolios were retrenched and replaced with the ANC's choice of their Own people...Problem is NOONE they put in is/was Qualified AT ALL !! Just The Governing party deploying its 'loyal cadres'....
Its Only taken 30 Years to destroy an Entire Nations infrastructure which took 300 years to build up...
But Hey, "Democracy" and the Evil white man....
Pretty much the same that happened here in Venezuela. The Chavistas replaced the "capitalists" with their party members and voila, weΒ΄re turned from the richest country in South America to a shithole, as Trump would call it.
Exactly...Its fucking terrible...The ONLY ones getting richer by the day at the expense of the people...People In Government and their Greedy fucking corrupt cronies...
I have a theory about the correlation of cannibal societies and the eruption of corruption and cronyism in their modern governments. It's just the selfish, greedy, vindictive swine aspect that connects the behavior patterns.
However, after witnessing Ukraine's debacle, I am not so sure. Corruption and Nepotism seem to be more than just a bad managerial style. Human nature? Not everybody is like that though. Sociopathy? Narcissism? Who knows. I wish there was a DNA test for that. but alas.
One should look for ways to combat the corruption, however. There is the implementation of software in government workplaces, which has a curious levelling effect upon managerial hierarchies, and necessarily introduces a need for competence. The funny thing is that local governments (who are supposed to look after infrastructure) will make the switch to software for budgetary reasons, i.e. they feel that it will fix the incompetence, or things will be more efficient. But is is a poison pill for the corrupt hierarchy. LOL/
In communist countries, or ex-communist countries to be exact, the increased transparency that is automatically afforded by such software, tends to be a damper on corruption. However, as Russia has demonstrated, with its Religious revival, things will not go right until the society at large is given a moral compass.
DEI at its finest probably.
