Exactly...Its fucking terrible...The ONLY ones getting richer by the day at the expense of the people...People In Government and their Greedy fucking corrupt cronies...
I have a theory about the correlation of cannibal societies and the eruption of corruption and cronyism in their modern governments. It's just the selfish, greedy, vindictive swine aspect that connects the behavior patterns.
However, after witnessing Ukraine's debacle, I am not so sure. Corruption and Nepotism seem to be more than just a bad managerial style. Human nature? Not everybody is like that though. Sociopathy? Narcissism? Who knows. I wish there was a DNA test for that. but alas.
One should look for ways to combat the corruption, however. There is the implementation of software in government workplaces, which has a curious levelling effect upon managerial hierarchies, and necessarily introduces a need for competence. The funny thing is that local governments (who are supposed to look after infrastructure) will make the switch to software for budgetary reasons, i.e. they feel that it will fix the incompetence, or things will be more efficient. But is is a poison pill for the corrupt hierarchy. LOL/
In communist countries, or ex-communist countries to be exact, the increased transparency that is automatically afforded by such software, tends to be a damper on corruption. However, as Russia has demonstrated, with its Religious revival, things will not go right until the society at large is given a moral compass.
Which is why education toward CIVIC DUTY is critical. Distasteful as some may consider civil service, it is vital to the maintenance of a free and prosperous land

Also, sending prayers for you, my fren.
Good men naturally gravitate away from political power and psychopaths crave it.
