Especially when that bear has arms and that bear has the right to bear arms.
And a fascinating hobby that is.
Sidenote: 3D printing is a fascinating hobby too. My son has been printing all sorts of extra bits to help attach scopes, wild Fibonacci inspired scope-wheels, rubbery eyepieces to shield from sun, baffled silencers, hamsters etc.
I can hear the REEEeeeeEEE
In a SHTF scenario, having the ability to 3D print the parts you need to fix things of all sorts will be a very handy tool to have. And they are much cheaper than a CNC machine, which would be nice to have in a SHTF scenario too.
The bottom line, and this is just my personal opinion only, everyone should learn to grow food, raise food, build stuff, fix stuff, and go camping on occasion just to know you can do whatever you need to do whenever you may need to do it.
The comfiest people in the world will always be the people who know they can take care of themselves and their loved ones no matter what happens.
The right to arm bears.
