TikTok CEO responds to passing of Congressional bill banning app in US
TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew issued a response - in the form of a TikTok clip - after the U.S. House of Representatives voted to pass legislature that could ban the platform in the United States.
Suzie Chew?
Did his parents have a twisted sense of humor?
Or is this just all fake bullshit?
Nah, I wouldn't say his name would be considered evidence of it all being fake bullshit or his parents having humor. I've never heard his name spoken by a Chinese speaker or English speaker, but for Mandarin Chinese "shou" should be pronounced somewhere between the English "so" and "show". And Chew can also be romanized/written as Zhou and pronounced nowhere new the English "chew". Despite speaking Mandarin Chinese, I have no idea how things are romanized for Chinese characters, in contrast to Japanese where the romanization is much more clearcut. I'd butcher Chinese names I see romanized just as badly as most others.
Looks just like a Chinese version of Zuck to me. Anyways:
That is the issue. Many people do not know that the CCP has laws in place that require all user data to be given to their communist govt.
This little worm in the above pic. is lying his ass off. He has no authority whatsoever to keep user data out of the hands of the CCP- it is mandatory for ALL Chinese affiliated data gathering operations. It is their law.
