Yeah, I did that in N.M. 1 year, a very long time ago, like 81 or something....
So to me it's just another Tax Racket that the State doesn't need, and kinda points in the direction of Corruption....
When people can't get a sticker, for whatever reason, they are forced to buy another Car or Truck, or put the one they have into a Body shop or other Mechanics shop, and somehow the state Legislature or other Official gets a Kickback somehow....
It's just an opinion, but I feel it's more true than not....
The worst part in PA was that the sensors the government required for environmental reasons often went bad, and they were extremely expensive to replace (both for the labor and for the part itself).
