does anybody have info on sunscreen. i've heard a few people say to not use it, but i'm not sure why.

You can use zinc cream. I wouldn't touch the commercial sun screens. Just like everything else, it's crap. Causes skin problems.

Is it zinc, or zinc oxide? My two minutes of searching has only found zinc oxide sunscreen.

My understanding is it's zinc oxide, which is actually a sun block. Also has healing properties for sunburn and wound healing.
