I watched one grow and cover damn near the entire sky. That never happened when I was younger. You'd see them, then they'd just go away. Under some conditions they would linger a bit longer. They NEVER grew to cover the entire sky.
Another time I watched as two planes, with no contrails at all, flying about the same altitude, in opposite directions, just turned on the clouds after they passed each other. They continued the spraying for the rest of the time I could see them. That was at the height of COVID. Someone needs to explain to me like I am 5 why there were absolutely NO contrails, then they just appeared the second they passed each other, and continued for many miles afterwards.
