Yeah, I think that whole 9 month armed standoff with law enforcement after they were convicted and sentenced for tax evasion might have had something to do with them being given such a long jail sentence.
I'm not at all in favor of taxes, but posts like this are a bit duplicitous. Most people don't bother looking up things to verify info for themselves, and just launch straight into righteous indignitation.
But of course, your post is exactly why I remain skeptical of the people who advocate for people to "stop paying taxes", as if it's just that easy or even effective.
No, just that there's quite a bit more to it than "They asked what law required them to pay taxes and no one told them then they threw them in prison!".
They had a trial. They lost. The got sentenced to jail time. Then they holed up in their house for 9 months talking about how they'd rather die than be taken and booby trapped their property.
Plenty of people object to our tax system without doing any of that.
I think you're just upset someone called you out on leaving very important details out of your post.

We need community notes like X
That would be such a good idea.
Definitely changes the perspective - thank you for the relevant details

Police being used for a PRIVATE INSTITUTION which is the FED RESERVE, since it’s not a federal building. Is wrong.
They use police as mercenaries and hit men to do their bidding when somebody doesn’t play into the “system”
Sounds like the beast system of revelations and here you are to defend it
