I guess I'd argue that the women's movement was always going to evolve into becoming blatantly anti-woman. At it's core, it was about demeaning some of the core qualities that make women special (nurturing, emotional center of a household, raising children). It was never about "doing whatever you want to do", it was always about "act like men".
