There are more people collecting signatures for MAGA people running for Congress than I have seen in the 20 yrs I have lived here. Unfortunately, Boulder, Ft. Collins (near Wyoming) and Shithole Denver are as blue as they come! Denver is a sanctuary city for godsakes! Monument, halfway between Co Springs & Denver just voted last month to NEVER be a sanctuary city! Some NGO is trying to put up 500 tents, called Tents In Hope, in Calhan, 12 miles from us a sleepy little town of maybe 10,000 people. The lady in charge tried an end run around (we are unincorporated) our Board of Supervisors and went straight to the Calhan police dept. (small letters because it’s that small!) for zoning stuff, how to get permits, etc. She thought no one would mind 500 tents, porta potties, portable showers, soup kitchens, medical facilities, etc out on beautiful, untouched, pristine prairie where we still see cows, elk, deer, pronghorns, horses and a WHOLE LOT OF NOTHING! Well, someone spoke up, (the police!) and now that is all anyone for 25 miles around is talking about. If we wanted illegals and all they bring here, we would have bused them in ourselves!!!l
