The drunk female facilitator's voice is so high-pitched and annoying.
Her halting, disjointed screechy commentary was quite terrible. Did Biden's speechwriter write her script? Her slurred words were a disaster. Here's her dialogue:
"All right guys. I mean, just like, so, what the heck is Trump doin'? I mean that, that guy, that, I mean, that guy, he's in so much debt, he's hawking shoes on Ebay! I mean seriously, seriously. Just, just, think about. Think. Think about what, what he's done. Am I right? Ree, I mean seriously, seriously. The ah, the, the, Trump, I mean, ah, I'm just gonna tell ya, I'm gonna tell ya, It's serious.">
Joe wanders out with dulled eyes and fingers extended and pressed together like he is going to pick up a tray. He stiffly goes right for the sacrificial child, but luckily did not do anything more than touch her hands. The small, but enthusiastic crowd cheers for him.
Joe's speech was terrible, repetitive, and had no value. Here is a sample:
"Joe: Look, uh. The fact is that the support around the country is real. I mean, it’s not just, it’s not just for me, it’s for Kamala, for the Democratic party. Folks you know, uh, Trump wants to undo everything we’ve done. You know uh. Not a joke. And uh, by the way, ya, you know, uh… Well look folks, the bottom line is he wants to undo everything we’ve done. Well guess what. (Joe leans forward and whispers) It’s comin’! Hey, it’s not a joke! It’s a fact. For real. Not a joke."
(Then, haltingly) "I’m going on too long… I apologize. (Suddenly a loud burst of music interrupts Joe and he looks perplexed. People laugh. The music is cut. Joe tries to resume his train of thoughts but a little child starts babbling and interrupting him and the parents allow it).
Joe: I’m not joking with you. I feel really good… as I go around the country – not a joke.
(Joe starts looking around confusedly. Applause erupts.)
I know, I know, I know, I gotta go. Anyway…
People loudly cheer. Woman presenter from the beginning tells Joe, “We love you.” Loud, lively music is back on and Joe mingles, going straight for the little girl and he tries to poke her with his finger. She cringes and pulls back in fear, her mother looks at her and admonishes her. Joe put his hand on her waist/thigh and caresses it. Mother presents other daughter to Joe. Joe’s not interested. Ironically as little girl is pulling away the song Move on up by Curtis Mayfield is in the background. The lyrics are ‘hush now child and don't you cry. Your folks might understand you, by and by.
