This is a basketball game, my dude. You're picking at cheerleaders now? We have bigger problems, but your gonna go quaker or jesuit on us, and torture and murder whoever disagrees with your interpretation of the Bible? That'll convert and save many souls fershure.
torture and murder whoever disagrees with your interpretation of the Bible?
Conversation with me may be torture, admittedly. Murder? That's a bit strong. The topic at hand concerns elementary fundamentalist Christianity. Salvation is much more important, and topics like the above can be quite the turn-off for the non-believer, until they have understood the significance of the Blood of Jesus. But for others, like myself, they may benefit from an extremely frank description of what's happening in front of them, that they may have been blinded to just prior. This is the reason for the video link. It's a less "religious" take that delves into the planned subversion of youth (amongst other demographics). It is of paramount importance to protect our youth from this exact subversion, regardless of "my" interpretation of the Bible. I'll pick at cheerleaders all day every day, and the parents that allow this slutty attire for a performance, same with Ballet, Jazz, and Hip hop dance, yoga, exercise at the gym, swimming with mixed genders, etc. Likewise when someone makes a post that includes a lauding of lukewarm secular "worship", I'll act as I did. I don't expect you to like it. I don't expect your convictions to align with mine, I'm simply offering my take. It's free and prudent! I suggest you view the video link and attempt an empathetic understanding of my perspective prior to opining further. Sorry you had a problem with an alternate description of what was happening in OP.
Exodus 5:1-2
His disrespect and irreverence are clearly products of his ignorance, and these produce his disobedience. Since irreverence produces disobedience, then true reverence will produce and promote obedience.
Romans 3:10
...“There is none righteous, not even one."
Certainly includes me. Nevertheless, we are to fear God. Irreverence is evidence of fearlessness. Sin debt is paid, praise God!
We have lost our obedience to God, our fear, and our reverence. And we are wandering the desert just like the Israelites. I pray for revival for this nation, all nations, and this board - the mods - the patrons - those who don't post or comment.

Fear and revere == pharisee thots
Loving Him comes first. The rest follows naturally from there. Christs words and deeds affirmed for 2,000 plus years as profoundly true.
Trying to put the cart before the horse, as the old saying goes, is not recommended.
I do recommend buying and reading this book, "The Orthodox Way" by Oxford scholar and convert to Orthodox (Non Western) Christianity, Ware.
It was my first huuuuge life transforming "red pill" read.
