My company was bought by a company that used Google for almost everything, that had the nerve to tell us their systems and security were so much mature than ours, that all our shared services people may as well start looking for new positions. And then we started finding a bunch of their documents from open internet Google searches. And then others found their business email content through similar means. But now, years later, of course execs are migrating on prem to cloud. They don't realize what pay-per-transaction really means, because they don't even know what a data transaction is. Throwing money at STEM is still not going to recreate logic, critical thought, etc when it's been removed completely from the government indoctrination daycare center curricula.
