Early aerial video from the news helicopters show that the muck at the bottom of the harbor was stirred up badly when seems to agree with guy in the video that said they dropped the port (right) side anchor which would likely cause a drift to the right into the bridge support.
I'm a little suspicious of the white flashes and sparks hanging in the air next next to the red beacon light in the middle of the bridge as it falls ....BUT if the bridge is snapping apart it could simply be the power supply to the lights shorting out.
Port is left starboard is right.. former sailor here-the wreckage will take a long time to clear, thus blocking the channel right where the bridge was highest above the water line...
Flynn had a video he posted that was very informative. My take from the video is that the ship was hacked and the propeller lost power. The drifting ship was steered to starboard by the water moving through an ideling propeller. When the power came back on the ship had already turned toward the bridge. The port anchor got dropped proving the crew was trying to turn to port to avoid the collision. Also, full power in reverse was applied creating the "rollin' coal" diesel truck effect of what anons are calling a fire. The power went down a second time probable sealing the crash corse after the crew started trying to save it.
I think the ship got hacked by those who knew when to do it and where it would drift to.
