Some of us coders were sympathetic to the miners then, and are uncomfortable with it coming for us too
It's fun to laugh, but everyone needs to understand the goal is to put as many people out of work as possible, so we all enter poverty under the government teat, which makes us easier to control and to put down.
Miners yesterday, programmers today, welders tomorrow, surgeons next week.
It's integral to understand that we all need to work together and recognize the issue that is coming to the country, especially with so much manufacturing continuing to be pushed offshore.
You have true empathy and ability to see ahead. Those abilities will serve you well and what the original goal of education was not DEI. Empathy for the coders losing jobs now will awaken some.
