Google Lens says its from an IG post from a homeschooler in Massachusetts - she mentions its from a private school in her area. You should try this tool before sharing.
So she traces this to a New Bedford Public School.
But apparently they blocked her (which she somehow interprets as them deleting their account - I would have thought someone like libs would have understood X better ???), but others posted a rebuttal from the New Bedford Schools X account saying that the image is a fake:
Hi all: We looked into this and it did NOT come from the NBPublicSchools. Also, the orig poster has updated to say it was a private school. There are several private schools in NB and we have no control over any aspect of them. Pls stop messaging NBPS. Have a good day everyone.
But because the image of the original 'paper' post from LIbs Of TicTok has the date / time etc erased, it's not easy to track down the original sauce without wading through lots of posts in that public facebook group.
"Massachusetts Informed Parents" does appear to be strongly focused on protecting kids from the Marxist sexualization agenda in schools, so I think there is some foundation for thinking the original MIGHT be true, although its reportedly in a PRIVATE school, NOT a public school, so enrollment would have been at the parent's choice.
At this point, despite checking lots of posts and tracking the so-called sauces, I still cannot verify that this is actually legit or real.
Note: We know the marxists are doing this all over the place. It's not news, and without any concrete details, ALL IT DOES is inflame your emotional reaction. It doesn't provide any basis for local action regarding the school. If you accept that this sort of thing is happening (if you don't already, where have you been the last 8 years?), then perhaps you should be acting locally anyway.
All good dishes come with saucy sauce.
Dishes without sauce are like McDonalds Junk Food. You might feel something while consuming it, but its going to give you a stomach ache sooner or later.
I'm glad we still have ppl here who do actual digs, saucing, and verification. I've come to hate titter. We are letting them get the upperhand by blindly accepting anything that is posted. We all need to do better. I miss OG Anons.
Can't see the emoji, but the sarcasm is clear. And rightly so.
To my mind, it is a civic misdemeanor to just post stuff like this without tracking sauce, without verifying, etc. But it appears that some folks just don't care and don't think it's worth their effort to vet the information they are posting, and don't think too much about the impact in cases where it is in fact fake or false.
To put it politely, I'm not a fan of that approach.
I think this site is amazing and exceptional in many ways, and in many ways these outweigh the shortcomings and problems, BUT I think you are correct and can only wish for a wider recognition of some of the shortcomings or problems we carry.
No one is perfect, so we don't need to abuse ourselves, but real growth only comes through honest self-reflection and a capacity to acknowledge shortcomings or mistakes.
Not claiming this is true. I do not know what school, but if true, get kids out of public school.
OK, so
In response to a request for sauce, the X source herself says

Apparently this came out via a Facebook page for "Massachusetts Informed Parents"

Thanks for the sauce.
Please don’t post unverified clickbait garbage anymore.
You make the site worse for it
Got it.
This was your job. I think you should try posting less quantity and focus more on quality.
Wow…I’m glad people who post things like this don’t even bother to verify what they’re posting is even true 🙄

This site has a MAJOR problem with promoting majorly lofty claims just because it sounds good.
I think this site is amazing and exceptional in many ways, and in many ways these outweigh the shortcomings and problems, BUT I think you are correct and can only wish for a wider recognition of some of the shortcomings or problems we carry.

So..... you didn't actually dig into it or check sauces, etc?
Hmmm.....
