I still don't think he has even been given secret service protection and he polls well enough to have it. Whoever runs Joe has blocked it.
Biden gets the Secret Service detail of a former Vice president. While President Trump gets better protection than a President Of The United States.
Without secret service protection, it's easier for the DS to get rid of Joe should he become a liability to them.
He has said that he requested secret service protection from Biden multiple times and they always deny him.
