Captain and Crew of DALI Cargo Ship Were Taken to Walmart Before Ship Crashed into Key Bridge | The Gateway Pundit | by Anthony ...
The Baltimore Sun reported the captain and the crew of the DALI cargo ship that crashed into the Francis Scott Key bridge were taken to a local Walmart to shop before their departure on early Tuesday morning.
The Captain only leaves the bridge when the staff captain is on the bridge. The ship should NEVER be left without someone at the helm.
So. It's docked. Crew goes shopping. Why is that an issue? Is that normal crew behavior or very abnormal behavior? Is there an insinuation that leaving a docked ship unattended to go resupply is a bad thing? Why is it a bad thing?
Without explanation, the title as is as silly and meaningless as "at least half of the crew of the crashed ship took a poo on the same day as the crash..."
The linked article has one line talking about them going to Walmart and not further discussion of walmart, the trip or unattended ships after that.
What a wonkey spotlight to throw on such a small detail.
Because if everyone left the ship, no one to notice if someone who is not supposed to be on the ship, goes on the ship to mess with maybe electrical/tech stuff before they depart. But yes, I think they left a lot out of this article about what exactly happened, like was anyone left behind on the ship or totally unattended, was there any security cameras catching anything not normal while the boat was docked and crew out shopping? They were probably trying to hurry to get the story out without waiting for more details.
This ship smashing into another dock previously is showing up today on GAW. Is this just a really sus captain? By the way, some of those with experience have stated the black smoke is expected when you force the diesels in reverse, the new prop rotation then twists the ship to starboard, the rudder was useless at that speed, the anchor wasn't let out enough to anchor anything, and lastly this ship has a history of losing power.
For a captain with a history like this, leaving the ship unattended is small beans.
The media gives the name of the crew's host, but not one name (or nationality) of any of the crew or captain.
