Oh heck no! In the name of Jesus I rebuke all profane and Satanic activities that may occur on April 8th! The Heavens declare the glory of God, and let no man or devil defile them!
What kind of stupidity is this? What the hell does a solar eclipse have to do with operating a particle accelerator? The eclipse is going to feature prominently in North America. CERN's particle accelerator's in Switzerland. What the hell kind of effect do you think is going to happen?
This is ridiculous anti-scientific hysteria. Downvote away.
Hey fren. Here's an old article, but the idea is still the same for today. CERN is hellbent (pun intended) on trying to play God and bring things to this world. You may remember them trying to figure out the God particle? And you may remember they have an odd 'destroyer of the world' statue out front? If you've been around this board, then you should be aware of symbolism and certain astrological signs being big for evil. I know it wouldn't make sense location wise since the US and Switz are so far apart, but the date and time could still mean something powerful to them.
Now, the team has restarted LHC after a two-year hibernation with hopes of unraveling more mysterious - specifically dark matter...
I do find it quite odd that CERN picked that particular day (eclipse day) to conduct its first experiment after 2 years.
A solar eclipse has more of an effect on the earth than simply casting a shadow on our planet. The eclipse will align the sun and moon, thus causing an unusual gravitational force alignment on the earth, regardless of if the LHC is in the sun shadow, or not. Also, the experiment will be searching for dark matter, something we know pretty much nothing about.
All I am suggesting, is that perhaps the LHC nerds intentionally picked that day for a scientific reason related to gravitational forces, and not some "spooky anti-science" reason, as this thread title [sort of] insinuates.

I stand in agreement with your declaration.

Interesting article👌
