I found Cook's Hams (shanks and butts) at Kroger last week for 0.49 per pound. I bought 5 per day for 5 straight days at two different Krogers in my area. They ranged in price from $4 to $6. I paid about $125 for 25 hams.
Im going back today to see if I can get more. I love ham and it is simply the best leftover to bring to work for lunch. We dont take a formal lunch. In concrete you have natural breaks built in all day as you wait for concrete to set up or transition between pouring and forming, grading or finishing. Cold ham is great to nibble on during these breaks.

Normally those hams are 30 to 40 dollars a piece.
