I didn't see the movie myself but knowing Johnson was in on the murder with the CIA was well known but we couldn't prove it. The Warren Commission appointed a the fired Director of the CIA---JFK fired him----to oversee the investigation making sure no evidence was turned up of a conspiracy against the President. The patsy Oswald was put in place by the CIA to take the fall. Head of the Warren Commission went on to become the President---Gerald Ford---and make sure nothing ever came to light.
Mmmm … if you could sauce that about Ford we would appreciate it. I think that is not entirely accurate. Ford was never director of CIA. He WAS on the House CIA Oversight committee. John McCone was CIA director when Kennedy was murdered. Earl Warren was head of the Warren Commission … Ford was on the Commission, not the head of it.
Great comment. George H. W. Bush smirked, laughed, when speaking at Gerald Rudolph Ford’s memorial service, when Bush spoke hearkened that a lone gunman had killed Kennedy. Bush continued: because Ford was an “honest man” that therefore the Warren Commission finding will always be definitive because Ford was a commission member. Bush allegedly “wasn’t” in the CIA until he was suddenly appointed head of it.
Not everyone comes out and says it. He definitely looks to have had affiliations, though.
