Sadly many, including those who claim to profess Christ will miss the mark.
Matthew 7:21-23
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
Yep. And that’s among people who were casting out demons and prophesying.
What of the people being led by the megachurch pastors?
There’s a reason that the fear of the lord is the beginning of wisdom. At the end of the day, all we can do is pray mercy.
Here’s a verse the dispensationalists don’t like to cite:
Romans 2:26 (KJV) Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
It would seem to me just as the temple had become horribly corrupted during the first coming of Jesus, the same will be said for the Church prior his second coming. Or as the apostle Paul called it, it will be in a state of Apostasy. As for those who have been mislead by the leaders they were taught to trust, it is up to them to read their entire Bible and find the Truth for themselves. For His people have always perished by the lack of knowledge.
Amen.
It’s easy to assume the weeping is from the people who missed him or weren’t obedient, but I said “they/we” earlier because it may well be the obedient weeping at everyone who was just swept away, prior to having every tear wiped away from their eyes…
