It seems as if a great number of people in powerful position have dual citizenship. How is it even possible for someone to have dual citizenship in the first place. The oath starts out....
"I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen"

Doesn't that mean that they are no longer a citizen of their previous country? It's become clear that that's not what they think. I think that we should make it illegal for anyone that is not a natural born US citizen to hold ANY political office including state and local level offices. I think they have sufficiently demonstrated that they cannot be trusted to put the needs of the US first.
Dual citizenship is fine. For some it is their birthright. But if you are in any position of representative authority you must renounce, as it is an inherent conflict of interest
But don't think law requires them to renounce or law is not enforced... thus dual citizenship persons do not always (almost never) vote in best interests of everyday Americans
Many would disagree. Even wealthy buisness men have an effect on your country as much as a representative does in many cases. These individuals alot of the time have a biased alliagiance to one country and in many cases the other citizenship is purely for business purposes. In turn they take advantage and it can't be allowed.
There is NO ""Birthright DUAL Citizenship"", this is a complete and total Lie that has been spread all across the country, to support and protect Treasonous People....
The only thing that supports any form of Dual Citizenship is the 14th Amendment, where it states that We are all State Citizens and Federation Citizens, and this too goes against the Body of the U.S. Constitution Citizenship Clause that shows that only the States can have ""Citizens""....
Whatever dude. Citizenship rules are different for every country and some people are born dual citizens because of their parents and ancestry. The laws of the United States allow dual citizenship. People making laws or in the military shouldn’t be allowed dual citizenship because it’s a conflict of interest, but if a civilian was born a dual citizen they shouldn’t have to give that up any more than they would cutting off their arm to fit into a country of one armed people
I'm not a Professor of Law, but have had some interesting comments from plenty of them to say, I know what I'm talking about, and The United States has never approved of Dual Citizenship, mainly because it opens the door to Treason and people like Obama sneaking into High positions of Power while holding Allegiance to a Foreign Entity....
We are a Nation Based upon Law and only Law, we aren't supposed to do ""ISMs"", and Law begins with Maxims::
The Citizenship Status of the Father shall be divested onto the Child....
Jus Saguinis....
Just Soli....
And then the Definitions of a Natural Born Citizen, also does not allow for Dual Citizenship....
The only thing that does, is again, the 14th Amendment, in all of its gory Communist glory....
You would be wrong here. I am dual Canada and US by birth and blood. My parents are both Canadian and were attending college in the US. They recieved work visas to stay and work and got married and had me in Chicago. A few years later my father got a job in Ontario so they moved back. By birth I am US and by blood Canadian. I have both passports and birth certs as well as SIN and SS numbers.
