i think there needs to be a better contract. maybe paid average salary with stock options. eg: 100k/year + shares vesting 5-10 years later.. so they lay a good road to reap the rewards. Right now they can take the money and run, and even run it into the ground to bet against it.
Additionally, Q post 524 got a lot of attention recently with the ship crashing into the bridge.
