All ANY fast food restaurant needs to do is obtain one (1) small single loaf bread machine and start baking one loaf at a time to sell. The law exempts places that bake and sell bread on site". The owner of Panera Bread is friends with Newson and a major donator to the Democratic Party. This was the stipulation on the legislation so that Panera Bread didn’t have to adhere to the $20 minimum wage. Everyone saw through it and is livid about it.
Luckily I've only been to a Panera once, several months ago, when I was getting a new pair of boots there was a Panera in the plaza I was at and I wanted to try that death lemonade I heard about. Was alright, but not worth the $4 I spent on it.
