yeh, well... he is right, but a ton of X users will have to learn to use VPN to get on X, like it happened to Rumble... and I guess this will cut down the users from Brazil to some 20% of X users, as it happened with Rumble.
I post daily in Portuguese, and a huge part of my followers (all from the "right" side) do not even know whats VPN and are shy to learn something new, I saw it happen as Rumble was shut down in Brazil. The whole comunity was lost.
For phones imagine if the twitter app could do a text only version of your feed using a voice call. I'd imagine a fax sounding or dial up modem sounding call but if that ran afoul of some laws about data transmission it could be text to speech and then speech back to text where it's a computer voice talking really really fast.
It was shitty platform until he took it over. Its a vast system of algorithms that still has lots of legacy rules in place. Besides it would not be a good idea to un-ban ALL accounts since some are legitimately banned for various evil reasons. Its not easy managing a complex software system especially written by someone else.
Its not about him. Its a growing platform where voices are heard and changes are happening BIG time. Even voting in an X poll or hitting a like button makes a difference to the collective in this digital warfare, that results in real actions in the world, saves lives, etc.If you want to be part of that movement I suggest continue appealing relentlessly. They just have to be convinced that you're not a bad seed. It would be difficult or near impossible for them to find out if you were an evil person or not when the account was banned. So you have to prove yourself.

Browser based VPNs are even easier than OS and network VPNs.
Even Opera has a built in VPN that makes things such as this a non issue to figure out.

Keep the people informed, no matter what the cost.
