The utility says they won't restore power until the lines can be checked for damage on Sunday.

In my head I don’t consider West Texas as the Western United States. To me Texas is kinda just its own thing due to how many geographic regions are in the state. I consider Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming to be the western United States.
