Yup, you can easily get better coffee from a mom and pop, or even better, making it yourself.

I agree! I recommend a Ninja coffee machine. It is awesome. It makes specialty drinks in addition to a pot, single serve travel mug, dispenses hot/boiling water too. Add to that Jordan's Skinny Syrup (many different flavors) and you save yourself a bunch of money.

Oh it takes pods and regular grounds!

I'm so lucky to have 3 different mom-n-pop coffee shops within 5 minutes of my house. Can't remember the last time I went to Starbucks.
