Well there was that rumour that Agent Z bought King Charles' Highgrove house... So he might need a little more money to cover, oh you know, the thing. https://londoncrier.co.uk/2024/04/zelenskyy-acquires-highgrove-house-former-residence-of-king-charles-for-20million/

But now, all the fact checkers are saying that piece of news is Russian disinformation . So, better not repeat it then. I suppose:

The London Crier is a Russian disinformation website that uses AI to publish totally fake and fabricated stories about Ukraine.https://twitter.com/Shayan86/status/1776236305678024739

So says a fellow calling himself Shayan - some rando, TBH. I had a look at the London Crier website and it appears critial of the UK government but not really AI-ish, but go ahead and tell us it is, and from a Russian sauce, no less /s. LOL

Another Fact-checker:

DFRAC team found that the claim is not confirmed. The London Crier mentions, “Although there is no official statement from Buckingham Palace on the Highgrove house sale yet, there are many details that indicate the sale was completed in late February – early March of 2024.”

So, fair enough - rather undersauced - no official statement blah balh. Not that this means ANYTHING. I mean, they did not bother to show us KAtherine in her pyjamas recovering from her life-thretening ilness, No, we were fed some AI photos and body-doubles.

But seriously, why would the Russians want to 'expose' Zelensky for wastin' his money, by writing salacious rubbish? They have better things to do, Z is already toast. They do not need to further damage his reputation - he is doing a fine job of it all by himself. Neither would there be much use for some embedded agent to pkae sh*t up over there in the West. That there is projection, pretending there is some sort of equivalent to the NAFO army. Doing it for free, etc.

Here's another, from the Center of Countering Disinformation [Oooh I'm scared now that's a CIA/Ukraine thingie]: https://twitter.com/CforCD/status/1775492478101045406

That one says:

Firstly, the London Crier website was created on 03/26/2024. [not sure why the date makes a difference to legitimacy]

Secondly, the links to the newspaper's social networks lead to the website of a company that sells website templates. [Yeah so someone made a website and is using freeware. Also not a reason to discount the news as fake]

Third, the authors of the published materials in the London Crier are anonymous users.[Oh well that proves it then .... not]

So, still watching this space.
