I love etymology. The more you study the origins of words, the more you find traceable roots back to shared sources, across most modern languages - and surprises around what the past tells us about the present.
there's a few of them - the bigger ones probably have videos with him. He's widely regarded as the "ONE" when it comes to this stuff lol
but yeah man like, I love music and books and etc and thats just the stuff in the 20 somethin letters that make up english lol so imagine if you could understand EVERYTHING out there. hell how many languages have no record left anymore and we have no idea they ever existed
he actually has one I watched recently that pointed out the uniqueness of the language because its one of the only ones WITHOUT being part of that spiderweb of languages connected you speak of
