Illegal is one thing. Once we’re freed that power will return to the jury [or “people”] as it should be. Only the directly affected people should ever be able to determine legality. Legislators should only be a rule of thumb to clarify and tidy up local rulings.

Try to avoid doing anything unlawful, though. Ever.

We all have to learn that distinction and what it means. It’s going to be a significant part of this outcome in the future.
