I thought that city ordinance was about employees being able to sue business owners if they don't give the employees at least 6 months notice before closing permanently.
Has anyone asked what Pelosi or Schiff think about this? It's [their] home turf, so I'm curious to see if [they]'d go on record saying [they] support this. And does this only apply to food stores, or any store that sells food items, like Dollar General and Family Dollar, or even a convenience store like AM/PM or 7-Eleven?
And do those asshats really think they'd be able to fill that void within 6 months of being notified of a closing? In that area? How bad is it in San Francisco...really?
