Yes, it's alarming how many people don't understand that only Legislators are constitutionally appointed to create law. And even at that, the law must be within the confines of the constitution. Meaning, if it isn't, it is 'repugnant' to the constitution and is actually, an illegal law. Understanding the constitution's protections is critical for patriots and citizens.
