They have not done ... you know the thing. Which puts a bit of a Boy-cried-Wolf situation on the Western inteligence and media fanfare. This has already set off some kneejerk diplomat warnings, and high-alert situations.

Iranians have said that there will be a retaliation for an attack upon Iranian soil in Damascus - neither of which parties were directly involved with the Gaza nonsense. However, the retaliatory measure will happen when they decide to do it.

They have also said that they want the UN Security Council to make a statement regarding the affair. So, it appears the Iranians are taking a moral high ground, and the Israelis allegecly did an unacceptable thing in another country.

Mind you, to be fair, the Israeli authorites have not claimed repsonsibility for the attack, so that is another wrinkle. Who else wanted those Iranians dead?
