Holy Father, my professional situation is extremely needy of my flexibility. The network of my previous employer is being moved, one application at a time, to my current employer’s facilities. There’s not many chances that I get much holiday or free evenings/weekends during the summer and I have not to be the weakest link in this chain of events. I pray You keep me focused and serene so everyone remains happy and thrilled by the better technical and administrative environment.
AGENDA
Today we celebrate Engratia.
Engratia was a native of Braga who had been promised in marriage to a nobleman of Roussillon. He sent as her escort to Gaul her uncle Lupercius (sometimes identified with the Luperculus who was a bishop of Eauze) and a suite of sixteen noblemen and a servant named Julie or Julia. Upon reaching Zaragoza, they learned of the persecution of Christians there by the governor Dacian, who reigned in the time of the emperors Diocletian and Maximian. She attempted to dissuade him from his persecution, but was whipped and imprisoned when it was discovered that she was a Christian. She died of her wounds. Her companions were decapitated. Although her martyrdom is traditionally placed around 303 during the Diocletianic Persecution, more recently it is considered probable that she died during the persecution of Valerian (254-260).

See you tomorrow, Frens! 🤓
Unfortunately no...she will be a felon. I believe after so many years she can petition to have her record expunged. I thank you for your prayers...she needs to have faith that God is in charge and it will all work out for the best for everyone. It is a challenge for sure...😥...God is good all the time...and He loves us with an everlasting love...weeping may endure for the night but joy comes in the morning...
As time goes by, it flies quicker when we get older. Let them know 5 months will soon be over and she will come back for good.🙏🏻💐 Will she get back her former job?🥺
I do not believe she will ever work hospice/social work again...there is the question of whether or not she will lose her license...it is actually up for renewal...there are certainly a lot of side issues...the worst is she won't be able to drive for three years when she comes home...she has been driving for 15 months since the accident...some things just don't make sense. She will also have $10,000 to pay for probation when she gets out, but they will impede her ability to work...oh well...
Hospice has turned into just a money-making organization that really doesn't care for their workers in terms of workload and that was part of the problem...it became too overwhelming. She was on family leave for 2 months and really should have just left after she came back...but that is hindsight. At least she is addressing major issues in her life in terms of dealing with stress and learning more about herself.
I can see why the recidivism rate is fairly high...they impede the healing process in a lot of ways...I get the idea of repeat offenders, but many of the restrictions are very difficult to overcome. I am sure the Lord will work it all out...but I can tell you driving is essential to where she lives in the mountains...especially with children...that is a definite negative. But you truly get what you get and have to make the best of it.
I think the fact that they took away 3 weeks of preparation for leaving has made her somewhat discouraged...so trusting God at this time is really important. She just needs to get beyond some of the negatives they are throwing her way...everything is somewhat shocking as she enters this new phase...but you are correct that time does seem to go quickly... so you know I appreciate your prayers...this is especially tough for her and her family, but it really is hard on us all...but God is still on the throne and totally in charge...you can't ask for much more than that...
That is testing news, I will mention her ordeal in tomorrow’s prayer so others will join.🙏🏻💐
