I recall seeing something quite a while back. I should have book-marked it. So many non-profits are good, but how can we be so sure anymore?

I don't know where you are on the globe, but for the USA there is no registration at the national level. To look up registration information of a U.S. company, you need to search the database of the state or states where it is registered. So, perhaps you can start by looking at the NGO, and where its headquarters are, and that might give an indication as to what state they are registered in. I say might, because NGOs PPPs and registered charities often behave like shell companies, covering their tracks, for dodgy purposes.
In New Zealand there is a nationwide one, but our nation is no bigger than an average US state. LOL https://companies-register.companiesoffice.govt.nz/
Thanks. The nagging won't leave me alone. A friend of mine is a missionary to Bolivia. She is a soft-spoken, kind-hearted person and would never hurt a child. She is a part of Vision Baptist Missions. My research is very concerning to me and our church gives a lot of $ to them.
So that sounds like a registered charity.
