The precipice is coming. We ain't seen nothin' yet.
I think financial crisis, suuply change disruption, local chaos no matter where you are (although rural communities will remain civil, as long as they are not overwhelmed with strangers from metro areas).
It will feel like we are on the cusp of civil war, because starvation causes people to do whatever it takes to survive.
Local police won't be able to keep up. There are not enough NG or military. It will be ugly for just long enough to make a lasting mark in the minds of Americans.
Then... 2020 truths come out. Everything is blamed on the traitors. Trump isinstalled, and enacts emergency measures as the New Republic, and hope returns, and hope turns into civility. Those who took advantage are rounded up and removed.
That's my prediction.
