There is only 1 truth. But everyone has a preferred narrative that they use to selectively interpret data and ignore the points that don't fit. This isn't just a problem with the radical left. Flat Earther's, as one example, have this same tendency. I'm sure if we all look hard enough many can find examples in their own lives where they have done this.
But this identifies the real problem today...it's become too brazen and too many people are just willing to overlook obvious contradictions so they don't have to accept their narrative is flawed.
We all need to work on this if we are going to become a better species. That said, not everyone does this to the same degree. Certain people on the left are really the low hanging fruit here.
The truth is just the reality that we all have to live in regardless of peoples opinions. The more in tune you are with the truth the more power you actually have. These scumbags are just text book propagandists and actually know the truth probably better than most of us do. It's just a game to them though. They are literally expert professional lairs.
Its us or them, All of them will end up in prison or all of us will.
That said, we need to be clear on which absolute qualities can be distinctively true or false in the absolute sense. I'm not trying to be funny, I'm just saying that, for instance, in physics, time in one reference frame can appear dilated in another frame. I mean really truly appear to be so. It's not even theoretically impossible that causality can appear twisted where the effect precedes the cause.
I'm afraid that their confusion originates from (perhaps intentional) misunderstanding of Einstein's brilliant thought experiments a century ago. Now that we as a species understand the concept of relativity & now we see how that concept can be abused let's move forward to phrase things in such a way that avoids possible ambiguities. For instance, instead of saying it was 7 o'clock say it was 7 according to the users clock. etc (If there is doubt, you are not doubting the validity of the event but possibly the instruments that recorded details about it)
Its the acceptance of ambiguity in all things, morality, religion, sexual behaviour, violence and language, especially language.
It must be nice to have a mental template that tells you how to react to any given situation or occurrence, stops any other thoughts dead in their tracks. Safe space!
